Hey guys! Hope you are well. Another month has rolled by, and another LoveLula Beauty Box has arrived at my door. I just love September… and I LOVE this box! Read on to hear about what gorgeous green goodies are inside!
This Walden Natural Perfume Gift Set is AH-MAZING. I already got this back in July as a gift with purchase with one of the full size Walden perfumes. I just love this set. You get a 5ml cute, baby bottle of each of the Walden fragrances and they are perfect for sampling, travel and your handbag. They also make such a gorgeous and chic gift. I wrote a blog post on all of these beautiful natural and cruelty free scents. Honestly I like them all, and I’m fussy with scents. This would make the perfect gift or treat for yourself. I’m currently deliberating whether to gift this to someone or save it as a back up for myself! I think they did great with this line.
The Balm Balm Beauty Balm 60ml was the second full size product in this month’s box. I’ve had a sample of this previously and I already know it’s nice. I’ve used several Balm Balm products and think the quality for price is unbelievable. This particular balm can be used as a balm to cleanse with, as a facial moisturiser and a lip balm or balm for any dry area. It also claims to work as an exfoliant. I must say I like this best as a first cleanse in the evening to remove makeup with a hot cloth, or I like to use as a moisturiser on my lips, hands, feet, knees and elbows. It’s 100% organic and full of beautiful, natural ingredients: sunflower, shea, rosehip, borage, beeswax, jojoba, calendula, lavender, rosemary, frankincense, tea tree, rose geranium & clary sage.
This is the individual version of the Joik White Chocolate Bath Truffle. It is made from 100% natural ingredients, sodium bicarbonate, cocoa butter, corn starch, citric acid, with dried flowers & herbs. It smells like white chocolate owing to the cocoa butter content. This made my bath lovely and soft and moisturising. No need to use body oil or lotion after I think this would be particularly good for using when shaving legs. I would definitely purchase these and they come in a range of ‘flavours’.
The box also contained a 10ml mini of the Esse Gel Cleanser. Esse is a probiotic skincare line from Sweden. I don’t profess to know anything about the benefits of probiotics, but this gel was lovely and refreshing to wash my face with after the Balm Balm Beauty Balm. The description does recommend this as a second cleanse, and it contains salicylic and levulinic acids, as well as aloe, marula, rooibos, sunflower, rosemary, spearmint, peppermint and caraway. It’s pretty expensive for a full size but I would consider buying this in future. Right now I have about 8 cleansers on the go though!
The final bits in the box were some skincare samples from Kimberly Sayer. There were 4 but the 2 that were for dry skin I gave to my Mum. It think I’m going to save these for travel or I might do a blog post dedicated to trying and using up samples.
That’s it for this month’s box. Did you receive this box? Any favourite finds?
