New Makeup Finds from Glow Organic!

So it’s been a short while since I ordered from Glow Organic, and I just love the makeup brands they stock and have been really impressed with the quality of the products and the service I’ve received.

I ordered the Nui Cosmetics Natural Lipstick in Ruiha. Ever since Mel, the founder of Glow Organic, announced the launch of Nui Cosmetics, I’ve been wanting to try some of the products, especially the lipsticks and the cream tint. I chose the shade Ruiha, a dark hued mauve with a matte finish, because I’ve not seen anything like this shade in the green beauty space, and I don’t own anything this mauve or muted. It’s not a usual shade I go for, but I love it and find it surprisingly wearable. I like to team it with a more neutral ‘greige’ liner. The vegan formula is absolutely beautiful and nourishing, containing coconut, jojoba and avocado oils, as well as capuaca, cocoa and mango butters. It’s literally like a lip treatment, whilst having opaque and long lasting colour. The other 9 shades (all vegan!) are stunning and I want them all! I would recommend this lipstick formula to everyone. Try it for yourself!

I had to buy the Hynt Beauty Perfetto Pressed Eyeshadow in Rosy Velvet, as I’ve been wanting this for ages since my favourite green beauty gal Ashley Bernier The Green Bunny has been raving about it forever. I absolutely love this shade, it’s like a medium muted red brown terracotta, although Glow Organic describes it as a pink based medium brown. Perfect for a warm eye look, it goes on really pigmented if applied on a flat brush to the lid but can be worn in the crease as a transition shade and blends out beautifully. I’ve worn it everyday I’ve worn makeup since I got it. I’m struck by the quality of this eyeshadow and would love to try the other shades. I’m only sad it doesn’t come in refill pan form or appear easier to depot since I prefer to house my single eyeshadows in a large magnetic palette.

There were so many other products I wanted to try, and Glow Organic has a great sample programme where you can purchase a decent sized bit of what you want to try. The Hynt Beauty Alto Matte Powder Blush in Notoriously Nude is The Green Bunny’s collaboration with Hynt Beauty. It is a neutral, nude pinkish brown that is perfect when you don’t want your blush to conflict with any other makeup. It is buildable and blendable and on my light pink toned skin I can also use it to add contour to my cheeks. I will definitely be buying the full size soon as I think it will be great for Autumn & Winter.

I also ordered a sample of the Nui Cosmetics Cream Tint for Cheeks, Eyes & Lips in Pititi. The perfect soft matte, warm rose shade, the formulation blends effortlessly on the skin leaving a natural flush. I think this is definitely one I will pick up in the full size next Spring.

Speaking of Spring, the Hynt Beauty Aria Lipstick in Bellini Nude, is a true nude, wearable peach, it’s absolutely lovely. The formula glides on thinly and evenly and is totally buildable. Like the Nui lipstick, this is another lipstick that I could totally have the whole colour range in, but I will definitely be picking this shade up come Spring.

I’ve never tried this brand before but have always been curious, so I popped a sample of the Axiology Lipstick in Attitude in my basket. I thought I’d go for a different shade so chose a hot berry pink. Not sure about the shade on me but again this lipstick has a fantastic vegan formula and is so comfortable on the lips. I think I do prefer the Hynt and Nui ones but I’m going to try some different shades I’m samples size next time I place an order.

Have you shopped on Glow Organic yet? Have you tried Hynt Beauty, Axiology or Nui Cosmetics? I would love to hear what you think, so please feel welcome leave a comment.
