Corinne Taylor Himalayan Bath Salts

Hi guys and welcome to this blog post! Today I’m going to share with you another wonderful set of products from Corinne Taylor Holistic Therapy.

If you’ve read my blog or Instagram before, you may have heard me raving about Corinne’s powder masks, room and linen sprays, as well as her candles. In fact I have loved everything I have tried from her range!

She offers skincare, bath products, body care, hair care and home fragrance products, all hand made by herself and formulated using only natural and organic ingredients. Everything in her line is vegan and of course cruelty free. Hers is one of my favourite brands and one I would not want to be without!

One of the product lines is her Himalayan Bath Salts, which she does in five different fragrances for different purposes. She sells them in single use, trial size sachets (75g) or in large glass milk style bottles (600g). I had purchased individual sachets before. But this time I decided to get the 5 pack set, which includes a sachet of salts in every fragrance:

I actually decided to give this ‘alternative selection box’ to my husband to use, since I’m the one always getting the good packages, and he loves bath salts and has tried and enjoyed one or two of these before.

So here is a break down of each of the 5 bath salts, their ingredients and their healing properties.

They all contain Himalayan crystal salt, which Corinne says is “a raw, unprocessed and unrefined salt, rich in 84 different minerals that the body needs to stay healthy. This unique salt can help to rejuvenate and stimulate your skin and body according to its needs. It has strong purifying / remineralizing properties which help to restore the balance of the body’s energy levels like no other salt can.”

They also contain coconut oil to leave skin soft and supple, as well as different essential oils for different purposes.

BALANCE contains essential oils of Rose Geranium, Clary Sage and Cypress to create emotional balance and deep relaxation.

DETOX contains essential oils of Lemon, Ginger and Fennel to detoxify your body and clear your mind.

CALM contains essential oils of Patchouli, Lavender and Frankincense to calm, soothe and relax.

ACHES & PAINS contains essential oils of Eucalyptus, Black Pepper & Sweet Marjoram to relieve tension and soothe sore and stiff muscles.

RECHARGE contains essential oils of Grapefruit, Sweet Orange and Ylang Ylang to uplift the mind and revive the body.

So what did we think? Hubby let me have CALM and I absolutely loved soaking in it. Super relaxing to body and mind, softening and nourishing to the skin. Mr Ethicalem’s loved them all but his favorite is Aches & Pains, and we both agreed we loved the scent of Recharge and would both gladly share a big bottle of that!

I think this set of 5 Himalayan Bath Salts would make a wonderful gift for the bath lover in your life, or anyone who enjoys natural beauty or aromatherapy. I would highly recommend giving them a try for a special treat to yourself too!
